Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee our accounting team and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, team management, and proficiency in accounting software. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of accountants, ensuring high performance and efficiency.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and client deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulations.
- Review and approve accounting work completed by the team to maintain accuracy and quality.
- Manage client relationships and address their financial inquiries professionally.
- Implement and improve accounting processes and workflows.
- Utilize and oversee work within accounting software such as QuickBooks, Zoho, and Tally.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as required.
- Ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end closing processes.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, with at least 1 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Zoho, and Tally.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
