We are looking for Agriculture Senior Accountant to join our team in Veggitech Farms.

As part of our growth, we are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with a strong background in agriculture accounts and finance to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and records.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
- Coordinate and complete annual audits.
- Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and standards.
- Handle VAT and other regulatory returns and compliance requirements.
- Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to support the company’s growth and profitability.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and other financial professionals.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant, preferably in the agriculture industry.
- In-depth understanding of UAE market dynamics related to agriculture accounts and finance.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
