About the Role:
This role is responsible for providing assistance to the Finance manager in various financial processes. It includes supporting the month-end closing process from start to finish, coordinating with external auditors for statutory audits, and handling technical IFRS accounting matters. Additionally, the role also involves assisting the Finance manager with the preparation of various Group Company related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with Month end closing activity process and timelines lead – Lead the month end closing financial activity and liaise with all finance colleagues with planning and execution in this respect.
- Assist with Statutory annual and quarterly reporting – Manage all statutory reporting with external auditors.
- Assist with review of financial results for accuracy and completeness prior to closing – Work with the finance team and Manager on review of financial results prior to month end closing being completed to identify anomalies from expectations or trends.
- Process month end activity for accounting entries – liaise on completeness with fellow finance teams.
- Assist with IFRS compliance and technical matters review.
- Coordinate with non-finance/other departments on obtaining key metrics to be used for financial reporting.
- Preparation of financial presentations for the group.
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified ACCA / CA or part qualified preferably finalist.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance.
- 3+ years of relevant experience preferably from any big 4.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with leadership.
- Proficient in English speaking.
