Job Summary:
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing our financial processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. You will collaborate closely with the finance team, providing valuable insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate must have a strong foundation in accounting principles, be a qualified CA Finalist, possess excellent analytical skills, and demonstrate a high level of professionalism
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct financial analysis, identifying trends, and making recommendations for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing activities, reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support business planning.
- Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for management.
- Participate in audits and coordinate with auditors to ensure a smooth and successful process.
- Implement and improve accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Mentor and support junior members of the finance team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong accounting knowledge
- Excellent analytical skills
- Experience with accounting software (Quick books)
- Excellent proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.????
