Description:

Hiring Senior Accountant

Main Duties:

• Bookkeeping up to finalization and issuance of full set of financial statements (BS, P&L, Cash Flow)
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial package & management reporting Maintain the General Ledger, prepare monthly closing schedules & complete Trial Balance

Bank reconciliations.

• Report the daily bank position and update the cheques issues and deposit registers
• Cash Flow forecast & budget compilation
• Maintaining fixed assets register & depreciation
• Maintain the petty cash, and keep the cheques and cash safe under custody
• Timely submission of VAT tax returns
• Accounts Payable, and dealing with suppliers
• Accounts Receivable, billing, Ageing report, follow up with clients
• Payroll review & processing
• Liaising with auditors and providing their requirements
• Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures
• Any other tasks assigned by the line manager within the scope of the job responsibilities

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting, including 3 years as Senior Accountant minimum 3 years working experience in UAE within the real estate sector (property management, facility management, etc)
• Only Professional Accounting Qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, etc). Qualification either fully completed or in process (Compulsory)
• Bachelor Degree, with focus in Accounting
• IFRS solid working knowledge
• Proficient in MS-Excel, building projection schedules, formulas, etc.
• ERP experience
• Fluent English.
• Flexible, can-do attitude, open-minded
• Able to work with little to no supervision and perform under pressure
