Description:

Senior Accountant-

Mh Al Gaddah General Trading LLC – Dubai

Job Responsibilities:

• Invoicing & payment handling.
• Booking bills to the expense/cost accounts with supporting documentation and managing accounts payable.
• Accurately perform daily reconciliations of cash, cheque, and transactions.
• Bank reconciliation. .
• Sending daily management reports in defined formats.
• Prepares tailored financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
• Responsible for VAT return filling.
• Responsible for balance closing and audits.
• Detailed VAT understanding.
• Supporting team members on all accounting processes.
• Performing other tasks as assigned by the line manager.

Job Requirements:

• A university graduate in Finance and Accounting
• CA, ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA
• IFRS knowledge and experience required
• Prior experience of 3+ years working in a wholesales and manufacturing environment/ sector; customer-facing experience preferred.
• Focus ERP experience preferred.
• Have excellent knowledge of Accounts Payable and Receivable.
• Proficient in VAT and Tax Computations.
• MS Office highly competent in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proficient in English is a must
• Minimum of 2 years experience in the UAE
