Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full accounting cycle for large-scale construction projects
- Prepare accurate monthly financial reports (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow)
- Ensure 100% compliance with UAE VAT and audit requirements
- Analyze project costs vs budgets with actionable insights
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Liaise with banks, auditors, and government authorities
- Implement financial controls to minimize risk
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 5+ years UAE accounting experience (3+ with main contractors)
- Proven expertise in construction project accounting
- Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance + ERP system proficiency
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros)
- Deep knowledge of UAE VAT and financial regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certification (ACCA/CPA/CMA)
- Experience with construction-specific ERP software
- Arabic language skills
