Description:

We are in need of a full-time experienced Senior Accountant.

• Preferably with an Interior Design, Joinery and Fit out experience.
• To take charge of the financial health of the company by administering accounting operations to meet legal requirements.
• Organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.
• Should be familiar with audits, invoices and budget preparations. Our ideal candidate demonstrates interest in managing accounting activities, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable and accounts receivable. Should also have excellent organizational skills and be able to handle time-sensitive tasks.
• Ultimately, will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the company financial transactions and procedures.

Main Job Description

• Develops and maintains financial systems
• Plans, directs, and controls accounting and financial operations
• Prepares reports and documents covering accounting transactions for management review
• Ensures that accurate records are kept by standard practices
• Establishes budgets, forecasts future cash flows, provides periodic financial analysis
• Monitors budget performance, expenditure control
• Manages invoicing procedures to collect money owed by clients/customers

Responsibilities

• Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
• Following up on outstanding, false claims, and unclaimed transactions
• Preparing various monthly reports to analyses business financial health, including sales reports, profit and loss statements, general ledger entries
• Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close
• Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements
• Research and analyze expense variances for company management

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role
• 5+ years’ of professional accounting experience
• Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
• Experience using financial software
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Knowledge of financial regulations
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills
• Sharp time management skills
• Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent
