We are hiring a Send Coordinator for a well reputed American school in Dubai. The position is with immediate effect.

Job requirements:

• A teaching license from home country
• A Bachelor’s degree or Master’s in education SEND.
• US Common Core Curriculum experience is preferred.
• IELTS Certification (8.0) for Non-Native English Speakers

Role:

• The SEDCO will work closely with the principal, Vice Principal to raise educational achievement by leading and coordinating provision for students with special education needs across the whole school.
• SENDCO will ensure strategic development of the school’s special Educational Needs (SEN) provision and oversee the day-today operations of that policy with the aim of raising SEN student achievement.
• Whole school teaching and learning responsibility in the area of inclusion with focus on SEND/EAL and G & T provision, provision, transition and tracking of valuable groups.
