We are looking for Scheduling Engineer to be based in UAE.
Job Description:
The Planning and Scheduling Engineer will be assigned as per discipline (Electricity, Water & Recycle Water) and his/her duties include Developing, implementing, and maintaining an effective scheduling management system.
Coordinating project timelines with internal departments and external stakeholders. Monitoring project timelines and deadlines.
Identifying potential project schedule delays and facilitating intervention in a timeous manner.
The Scheduling Engineer is required to have extensive experience in the preparation of planning and scheduling control systems and practices to provide engineering, procurement and construction supervisors the means to evaluate the progress and execution of assigned projects.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience with at least 8 years’ experience specifically performing the development of baseline critical path schedules.
- Assist in managing logic networks based on critical path (P6)
- Knowledge in the use of Primavera (P6) and MS Project
- Assist in the development and preparation of weekly and monthly progress reports & dashboards to the client
- Assist in the updating of the Baseline Schedule, including executive summary report
- Identify bottleneck areas and alerting management as well as develop solutions
- Coordinate and interface with Consultant/ Contractor and other third-party Developers
- Assist in the development of weekly snap shots as required by Management
- Attend meetings with the Consultant/ Contractor and provide information to team members regarding new direction or updated information
- Assist in preparing time extension or delay analysis reports
- Working knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up / set up work processes
- Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma
