Sales Engineer required

The candidate for this position will excel at creating and closing new opportunities. By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers. This role is based in the Abu Dhabi region.

Qualifications:

  • The candidate must have construction chemicals and civil engineering-based industry experience
  • Preferred experience, especially in the waterproofing, industrial flooring, and concrete treatment sectors
  • 2–5 years’ quota-carrying sales experience
  • The position is based in the Abu Dhabi region
  • Must have a valid UAE driving license
  • Experience and working knowledge of ERP and CRM systems
  • Demonstrable track record of over-achieving quota
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Successfully create business from new and existing customer accounts.
  • Manage complex negotiations with senior-level executives.
  • Build rapport and establish long term relationships with customers.
  • Manage existing accounts and establish new accounts within the assigned territory by identifying and assessing potential projects and trading markets.
  • Defining the sales strategy and targets for the assigned territory together with the Sales Manager, meeting prospects, and carrying out product demos.
  • Understanding the technical specifications and obtaining input from the technical team for quotations
  • Preparing and negotiating commercially viable quotations together with the Sales Manager in finalizing and obtaining orders.
  • Ensuring the successful implementation of the other approved actions to maximize sales, thus achieving or exceeding aggressive sales objectives.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with the builders / architects / interior designers / Engineers contractors in the assigned territory to Convince them.
  • Work closely with the Sales Coordination team, production, and Dispatch departments to ensure the timely delivery of products to the customers.
  • Attend the customer complaints and resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management. Follow up with the customer for any unpaid invoices.
  • Take accountability for the company’s set sales target as per the sales plan and volume projection.
  • Finalize orders in coordination with the Sales Manager and get the company’s product specified.
