Looking for Sales Engineer – Transformer/Substations to be based in Dubai, UAE

We are looking for a Sales Engineer who is responsible for creating and developing our presence in the UAE markets focusing on engineered electrical power distribution/substations primarily for the industrial/Commercial/Oil gas markets.

• Generate new business opportunities in the industrial, power, and renewable sectors.
• Review Customer specifications and generate quotations based on Engineering and Product knowledge.
• Engage in follow up conversations with Customers and Potential Customers to convert Open Opportunities into Sales Orders.
• Work with Customers to understand and assess equipment needs, making recommendations as needed.
• Provide excellent Sales and Engineering Service, including Technical Support, as needed.
• Prepare and submit weekly sales and pipeline reports to the Sales Director
• Submit new sales and project opportunities to the engineering team who will prepare quotes, tenders, etc.
• 3+ years technical sales experience.
• Proven experience working with Multi Million value projects.
• Ability to understand the technical requirements of client’s application and answer technical questions – engineering team will assist as needed.
• Well spoken, well presented and professional, as sales meetings form an integral part of this position.
• Willingness to learn on the job, work independently, grow with the company.
• Arabic speaking will be added advantage.
