Position: Safety Officer (Healthcare)

• Experience: minimum 5 to 6 yrs of experience in Healthcare industry
• Desired qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in the health & Safety / Natural Sciences / NEBOSH certified/IOSH
• Fire and Safety Diploma is an added advantage.

Key responsibilities:

• Knowledge of Reading and Using Safety data sheets of the hazardous materials
• PPEs management and monitoring
• Knowledge of air and water testing within healthcare environment
• Experience in Waste Management practices
• Experience in conducting FMS Committee meetings and taking minutes of the same.
• Knowledge and able to give Fire & Safety Training to the staff
• Conducting audits and inspections
• Experience in Contractor management for fire and safety compliance (Construction and Renovation)
• Knowledge of conducting Risk assessment and HVA in a healthcare set-up.
