We are looking for a Safety Engineer with minimum 2 years UAE Experience as Safety engineer.

Job Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Safety Engineer at Greenscapes. The Safety Engineer will be responsible for overseeing safety engineering, occupational health, and security, training, maintenance and construction safety for landscape and irrigation maintenance projects. The Safety Engineer will work closely with the project team to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, as well as identify and mitigate potential safety risks.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Regularly inspect equipment and workplaces.
• Reviewing landscape maintenance standards and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Address health-related complaints and reports to identify recurring hazards and issues that need redressal.
• Analyse site operations and equipment performance to collect statistical data and create accurate reports.
• Implement and maintain health and safety standards.
• Standardize health and safety in order to remain consistent.
• Advice and lead employees on various safety-related topics.
• Compile and maintain relevant registers to ensure compliance.
• Document staff information, minutes of meetings, and reports compiled for management.
• Meeting with clients and preparing the necessary documents and reports as per the client’s HSE standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Good interpersonal skills and a willingness to work with people at all levels of an organization.
• Excellent team management and leadership skills.
• Expertise with software products such as MS Office.
• Excellent situational awareness and an ability to maintain a rational demeanor in emergencies.
• Experience in Road and construction Safety
• Nebosh Certificate
• Knowledgeable and conversant with Dubai safety rules and UAE Authorities and departments regulations and provisions (DM ,RTA …) .
• Solid knowledge of the local legislation and guidelines.
• Familiarity with Landscape & irrigation Maintenance safety procedures.
• UAE driving licence is a must.
