Hiring Safety Engineer
Experience: 4–5 years in UAE, specializing in safety management for 33kV power cable and 33/11kV package station projects with ADDC/FEWA/AADC approval.
Responsibilities:
- Possess Nebosh certification and ADDC Competency with UAE Driving License.
- Ensure familiarity with ADDC Standards and Requirements to uphold safety protocols.
- Develop and implement comprehensive HSE Plans specific to project requirements.
- Supervise PU Substation Equipment’s and 33KV Cable Laying Construction Activities to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Lead and guide the HSE team to foster a proactive safety culture and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Conduct detailed HSE assessments and risk analyses for projects, identifying potential hazards and recommending effective control measures.
- Collaborate closely with project teams and stakeholders to integrate HSE requirements into project planning, execution, and commissioning phases.
- Design and deliver specialized HSE training programs, emphasizing safety measures and promoting awareness among project personnel.
- Conduct thorough incident investigations and prepare comprehensive root cause analysis reports, implementing corrective actions to prevent reoccurrences.
- Monitor and evaluate HSE performance metrics related to projects, providing regular reports for management review and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements, regulations, and best practices in HSE management for projects.
- Monitor, control and coordinate with daily site
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with relevant engineering field.
- Nebosh certification is mandatory.
- 4–5 years of experience in safety management for 33kV power cable and 33/11kV package station projects in the UAE.
- ADDC/FEWA/AADC approval is required.
- Strong understanding of ADDC Standards and Requirements.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to conduct thorough HSE assessments and risk analyses.
- Experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
- Proficient in developing and implementing HSE plans.
- Ability to design and deliver effective HSE training programs.
- Familiarity with industry advancements, regulations, and best practices in HSE management.
