Job Description:

The candidate will be working in the Rigging Department assisting HOD Rigging, Head Riggers, Project Managers, and AV Technical Departments in delivering high-standard events to our clients while quality standards are always maintained.

Responsibilities:

• Assist HOD Rigging and Head Riggers while planning and executing events
• Work as a team member in the Rigging Department and in collaboration with Carpentry, Lighting, Video, Electrics, Sound and Automation departments
• Lead the on-site rope access installations while maintaining safety standards and accuracy within the given timelines
• Read and interpret designs, scaling from drawings to mark out work on site.
• Assist with the establishment of a safe working environment at all times
• Participate in the regular inspections of all installations
• Perform other tasks as assigned to you by the HOD and Head Riggers

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3+ year’s previous experience in a similar role with a good understanding of the events industry
• IRATA LVL-2 or above is essential
• Experience of working with MEWP Access Platforms. Existing certification will be considered as an advantage
• Experience in planning, working, and operating on large-scale events
• Strong understanding of safe working loads, safety factors, rigging principles/solutions, hoists, truss systems, slings etc.
• Must display a positive attitude
• Capable to work under the pressure
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Self-motivated and able to work under own initiative as well as part of a team
