We are looking for a highly motivated Part-Time Research Assistant to join a public health and healthcare services research project. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in qualitative research, outstanding organizational skills, and bilingual fluency in Arabic and English. Please note that only bilingual candidates with Arabic and English will be considered for interview.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination: Assist the Principal Investigator and co-investigators in overseeing the study, handling administrative tasks, and managing patient recruitment and interviews.
  • Qualitative Data Collection & Analysis: Conduct semi-structured interviews, transcribe data accurately, and analyze using qualitative software such as MAXQDA. Translate data between Arabic and English as needed.
  • Scientific Communication: Draft research reports, academic manuscripts, and materials for stakeholders with clarity and attention to detail.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelors or Master’s or PhD in Public Health, Nursing, Healthcare Management, Medicine, or a field relevant to Health Sciences.
  • 3–5 years of proven experience in qualitative health research.
  • Proficiency in qualitative data analysis tools (preferably MAXQDA).
  • Demonstrated experience conducting and analyzing qualitative interviews.
  • At least one published qualitative study in a peer-reviewed journal.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively.
