What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Submit timely and accurate invoices to payers for services and products provided
- Evaluate payments received and apply them accurately to patient accounts
- Follow up on submitted invoices to ensure prompt payment
- Ensure compliance with policies and guidelines outlined in contract terms and fee schedules
- Maintain patient and business confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 0 – 6 months of previous infusion reimbursement or intake/admissions experience
- Basic level skills in Microsoft Excel and Word
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Familiarity with billing and collections processes in healthcare
- Experience in a customer service role within a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance
