Hriing Refund Coordinator
Position Summary
The Refund Coordinator will be responsible for numerous tasks to help other team members fulfill their duties.
Essential Functions
- Sort and review all incoming refund checks
- Log all refund checks in the database.
- Create refund letters to clients.
- Open/copy/file of refund checks.
- Handle MP/DI refund checks.
- Review negotiated fee email/checks (review refund letters and log into database).
- Enter all document id numbers into the database after scanning.
- Return letters/checks to providers for various reasons.
- Provide support to other duties as assigned (creating the daily adjuster report and Examiner Mail)
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience And Skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- 1+ years administrative experience
- 2 or more years of experience in working for an insurance company or third-party administrator are a plus.
- Applicant must be proficient at the use of Microsoft Word and Excel programs and have the ability to easily learn other data systems.
