Description:

We are hiring Joinery Industry experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) part of our growing team and will be providing all necessary assistance to the Project team with respect to all financial and contractual aspects of the project.

Reporting with the Commercial Head, he/she will assist in the review and certification of interim payments, project variations and other financial matters as advised.

Job Role:

• Responsible for overseeing projects, managing risk, working out and controlling costs.
• Reviewing construction contract documents and preparing detailed material and sub-contract packages. Follow-up with Procurement team and assist as necessary with budget and finalization of vendors
• Sub-contractor finalization work orders after negotiation.
• Liaising with Site Managers, Clients, Contractors, and Subcontractors.
• Preparing Reports, Budgets, Risk Assessment, and other documents as advised.
• Submission and follow-up on Valuation to the client.
• Submission and follow-up on variation with client.
• Monitor the project as per contract and advice the team on all contractual requirements and compliances.
• Maintain all cost and quantity records.

Requirements:

• Required 5 years’ experience in a similar role in Joinery Industry.
• Sound Technical Knowledge on Fit-Out and Joinery
• Subcontractor negotiation skills
• Preferably Indian
• Hold valid UAE Driver’s License
