Description:

A Well-growing Interior fit-out Subcontractor based in Dubai, is looking for competent Quantity Surveyor for Commercial Management & Contracts Administration of their projects. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 Years of UAE experience in interior fit-out in capacity of a quantity surveyor is mandatory.
  • BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management or related discipline.
  • Good Understanding on Gypsum partitions & Ceiling systems will be an advantage and will be given priority.
  • Good working knowledge on FIDIC with understanding in principles of contracts & terminologies is required.
  • Excellent knowledge in MS Excel, Word and Outlook required.
  • Immediately available within UAE preferred, should be able to join within 10days of selection.
  • Role will be Full time & Permanent; Salary depends upon experience (will be discussed during selection process).
  • Freshers kindly do not apply, as this role is only suitable for experienced candidates.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing contract documents, Preparation of Contractual risk report, strategize with the management and engaging in negotiation with the Main Contractor to achieve required objectives in contractual provisions.
  • Preparation of RFI and Contractual letters to the Main Contractor for queries, clarifications, request, notices and for responses.
  • Identification of Variations and contract entitlements, preparation of cost proposal with detailed breakdowns, engaging in negotiation meetings with Main Contractor to achieve approval on the variations.
  • Drafting of bespoke subcontract/supplier agreements as per the requirement of the management.
  • Preparation and Maintenance of records for all incoming and Outgoing – Contract documents, amendments, Letters, RFIs, Minutes of Meetings records and all projects related transmittals.

Commercial Management:

  • Quantity Take-off, preparation of project estimates, material & manpower budgets.
  • Preparation & Management of all payment applications, certifications, valuations, retention, final accounts, settlements, communications, and payment follow-ups.
  • Verification and certification of subcontractor/supplier payment applications with facilitation of internal approvals for payment.
  • Preparation of Local Purchase orders, Proforma Invoice and Tax invoice as per requirement of the projects and the management.
  • Preparation of Cost Value Reconciliations (CVR), Cost-to-Complete, Monthly Commercial & Progress reports.
  • Procurement of project material requirements, sub-contract trade packages.
