Description:
We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Engineer willing to work in Dubai, UAE:
As a QA/QC Engineer, you will be required to:
- Develop and implement quality assurance procedures, policies, and guidelines to meet client requirements and criteria.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify quality improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions.
- Review and analyze technical specifications, engineering drawings, and other relevant documentation to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams regarding quality-related matters.
- Conduct Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) as required and provide expertise in NDT methodologies.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier/vendor performance to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints or quality-related issues, taking appropriate corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records related to quality assurance activities.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in quality assurance.
- Established and implemented work schedules and adjusted them to meet project deadlines at the work site.
- Ensure all site personnel use quality workmanship in accordance with plans and client needs.
- Monitored all supplies provided by external vendors & ensured that all of the materials were in accordance with quality standards.
- Implemented a safety program through training sessions to enforce onsite safety assurance at the workplace.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years of experience as a Quality Engineer specializing in the Oil and Gas, Energy, or Electromechanical sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles, methodologies, and techniques.
- Familiarity with Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods and equipment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using relevant software applications and tools.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- A valid UAE Driver’s license is a MUST.
- Experience in the Oil & Gas, Powerplant, and Energy sector is a MUST.
