We are looking for Purchasing Specialist for our client in Abu Dhabi .Interested candidates with relevant qualification and experience please forward CVs with their salary expectations (Lumpsum salary including all allowances)
Candidates should have valid UAE Driving license.
Job Purpose:
Performs a variety of duties specifically related to the procurement of technical materials, for both stock replenishment and non-stock requirement to support Company plant operations, handles special material requirements called for by user and or stock controllers for urgent projects and maintenance operations.
Prepares commercial and assisting in technical bid analysis, providing techno-commercial recommendations for award and preparing purchase orders to domestic and worldwide suppliers with domestic and international terms and conditions.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent.
Experience & Skills Required.
- 12 years’ experience out of which at least 6 years in purchasing/procurement activities with extensive knowledge of materials, procurement practices and local market conditions within the oil, chemical or petrochemical industry. Knowledge of computer application packages related to Procurement/Materials Management.
- Good knowledge of English and Arabic.
- Preferably “CERTIFIED” by a related Procurement Professional Certification Body (APS, CIPs, etc.).
- Related GCC experience in an Oil & Gas Industry will be a definite advantage.
- Valid U.A.E. Driving License.
