Description:

Hiring Purchase Officers

• Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company objectives.
• Identify and source potential vendors and suppliers, assessing their capabilities and negotiating contracts and pricing terms.
• Evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and ability to meet requirements.
• Maintain supplier relationships and manage supplier performance through regular reviews and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand, ensure timely delivery of goods and services, and resolve any supply issues or discrepancies.
• Monitor market trends, industry developments, and technological advancements to inform procurement decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Analyze and optimize procurement processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to procurement activities.
• Prepare and present reports and analysis on procurement performance, cost savings, and other relevant metrics to management.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Purchase Engineer or in a similar procurement role, preferably in Manufacturing Industries.
