Hiring Purchase Manager
Job Overview:
The Purchase Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the procurement of goods and services necessary for the smooth operation of our lounge. This role involves sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Management:
- Identify and source suppliers for all required products and services.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers to ensure the best value.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed.
Supplier Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable service and product quality.
- Evaluate supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies.
Budget and Cost Control
- Work within budget constraints to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
- Track and manage procurement expenses to ensure adherence to budget.
Inventory Management:
- Oversee inventory management and control to avoid overstocking or shortages.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and adjust procurement strategies as necessary.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of all procurement transactions and contracts.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the management team to understand procurement needs and priorities.
- Coordinate with other departments to support operational requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in the hospitality or lounge industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
