Hiring Project Manager
Location: Abu Dhabi
Responsible for the construction/implementation of the project, complying with the requirements of the project specifications, completing and turning over the facilities within the targeted project schedule satisfying the requirements of quality, safety, and environmental issues, managing all the activities for the Project with the assistance of project team assigned.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Managing project and ensuring the project is delivered within budget and on time; with quality as planned.
- Directs the project planning, design, construction, and approval processes.
- Runs the project schedule and negotiates interdependencies.
- Monitors progress against targets and solve complex issues between stakeholders.
- Manages project budgets and reports progress against budget.
- Coordination with all departments on all technical requirements and delivery
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Handles project planning, contract administration, execution, job cost tracking, billing, change order control system, claims, and job closeout.
- Implements best business practices for project management procedures and documentation.
- Manages the subcontract payment application reviews and approvals.
- Oversights (job selection, schedule, and review) of the estimating function.
- Provides project status monthly detail and cost to complete figures.
- Ensures technical excellence at the operations to prevent harm to persons, and damage to machinery and equipment.
- Analyzes equipment, processes, and systems to identify modifications to improve efficiency, increase quality, and reduce costs.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Master’s degree / Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
Requirements:
- Min 10 years experience as a Project Manager in the UAE; Fully aware of all Authority / regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Language:
English is a must and Arabic is a PLUS.
