Hiring Project Engineer (Arabic speaker)

We are looking for a skilled Finishing & Fitout Engineer with a minimum of 5-7 years of UAE experience in civil engineering, specifically focusing on finishing, fit-out projects, and renovation works. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, excellent project management skills, and the ability to ensure high-quality finishes in all projects.

Project experience in Jewellery, F&B, Retail, Offices, Clinics will be an advantage.

Key Responsibile Areas:

• Project Execution: Oversee and manage finishing and fit-out activities on site, ensuring all works are completed to the highest standards.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all finishing works meet the required specifications and quality standards.
• Coordination: Collaborate with architects, designers, and other engineers to ensure seamless integration of fit-out designs with structural elements.
• Scheduling and Planning: Develop detailed work schedules and plans for finishing and fit-out activities. Monitor progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet project deadlines.
• Cost Management: Assist in the preparation of budgets and estimates for finishing and fit-out works. Monitor expenses and manage resources efficiently to stay within budget.
• Vendor Management: Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services. Evaluate and approve work completed by subcontractors.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure that all finishing and fit-out activities comply with safety standards and regulations. Conduct regular safety inspections and address any issues promptly.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of project progress, materials used, and any issues encountered. Prepare regular reports for senior management and stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Address any challenges or issues that arise during the finishing and fit-out process, finding effective solutions to maintain project timelines and quality.

Qualifications

• Education: Civil Engineering, Construction Management, related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of work experience in fitout contracting, with a focus on finishing, fit-out projects, and renovation works.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Strong understanding of finishing materials, methods, and best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
