Project Control Engineer – Electrical
10 years’ experience Project Engineer -Electrical in major EPC projects, and 5 years relevant experience in Oil & Gas Projects and Power Plant Projects as Electrical Project Control/Project Electrical Engineer position.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
To review electrical engineering design drawings, wiring diagrams and check the electrical equipment specifications for ongoing and upcoming electrical engineering projects. Continuously monitor and review the project schedules to ensure project activities are implemented in a cost effective and timely manner.
Responsible for the effective planning, coordination, supervision and execution of electrical engineering project related activities with Contractor and Co. work sites
Prepare bid documents, participate in tender evaluations, kick-off meetings and clarify issues pertaining to tendering process with Contractors for routine maintenance of power generation equipment such as gas turbine generators and for future electrical engineering related projects.
Manage, monitor and interpret the contract and electrical design documents. To analyses the priority of activities and ensure timely completion of tasks as per defined procedures and standards.
To support the development, documentation and communication of proper standard guidelines to relevant stakeholders and monitor their adherence to carry out the work
Assist the Section Head for the execution of project within the approved budgetary limits and monitor the actual expenditure against the budget plan.
Provide effective leadership to build the project team and setting individual objectives, for the development, motivation and performance improvement of subordinates to maximize the project performance.
Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the Project to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.
Evaluate & recommend employees for training programs for skill enhancement to build a competent team.
