Description:

We are looking for a Production Coordinator for a Jewelry Brand.

The key role of the Production Coordinator is to manage the jewelry production process from start to finish, including gathering details from the design team, interpreting edits and communicating to the design team, placing orders, and tracking progress until completed

The role is focused on ensuring a smooth-running production line that produces exquisite work for our customers in a timely manner.

Technical Knowledge & Skills

• Understanding of jewelry making process and different types of jewelry
• Understanding of machine and tools requirements for jewelry making
• Understands different methods and techniques involved in making the jewelry
• Understands making components and frames for jewelry
• Basic Knowledge of soldering techniques in jewelry making
• Basic Knowledge of different cleaning and polishing methods and their purpose
• Basic Knowledge of consumables used in different processes of jewelry making and their usage purpose
• Understands different types of gemstones and setting techniques
• Should be able to operate a computer system and software packages to document production
• data and analyze
• Should have an understanding of CAD and Other Jewelry Designing Software
• Knowledge of MS office, specifically Word and Excel is mandatory
• Natural leader who can dive in, manage people and jewelry production and wear many hats.
• Can work well under pressure and complete projects from start to finish.
• High attention to detail, thorough follow-up, and strong time management skills

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in commerce/Engineering or any other Discipline
• Minimum 2- 4 years of experience in the jewelry manufacturing industry as production in charge in an SME.
• Minimum 1-year Experience within UAE is mandatory
