Hiring CASE Product Development & Technical Support Manager

Location: Dubai Industrial City, UAE

Reporting To: New Business Unit Head

Direct Reports: Lab Chemist(s) / Technician(s)

Responsibilities:

• Development Planning & Market Activation:
• Develop and maintain expert technical knowledge within focused market sectors and product groups to identify growth opportunities aligned with company goals.
• Conduct competitive product analysis in target applications to assess the advantage of existing and new CASE formulations.
• Collaborate with Business Unit Head to define the product development pipeline for the CASE category, involving Sales and Production Teams.
• Support commercial launches and rollouts of new products in coordination with the Sales Team.
• Provide technical advice and support to customers, distribution partners, and stakeholders to promote technology and troubleshoot product applications.
• Participate in customer visits to demonstrate product performance and commercial advantages.

Product Development (R&D):

• Lead R&D projects to develop full formulation requirements for target CASE customers ensuring technical performance and cost competitiveness.
• Customize products for regional and local markets.
• Ensure timely and budgeted completion of R&D projects, managing resources efficiently and adhering to regulatory requirements.
• Manage multiple simultaneous projects and rapidly changing priorities.
• Oversee lab equipment usage and safety practices; engage in patenting work where applicable.
• Team Upskilling and External Networking:
• Conduct onboarding and regular training sessions to share technical knowledge internally.
• Build and lead collaborations with external partners (universities, research institutes, industry partners) to advance R&D projects and commercialization.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in CASE (Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, Elastomers) product development and technical support.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in managing and developing a team is desirable.
