Hiring Procurement Specialist – UAE

Job Responsibilities:

• Devising and using fruitful procurement and sourcing strategies
• Negotiating with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
• Devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies
• Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships
• Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
• Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services
• Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries
• Examine and test existing contracts
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
• Preparation of export documentation – invoice, packing list, delivery advice or any shipping documents needed.
• Coordinate with Freight forwarders for outbound logistics.
• Managing Outbound Shipment schedule.
• Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize costs and improve quality.
• Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability criteria.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms for the company.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address sourcing needs.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering and process improvement.
• Assess and manage risks associated with the supply chain.
• Utilize data analytics to track key performance indicators and make informed decisions.
• Provide regular reports and updates to management on sourcing metrics.

Requirement or skills:

• Proven working experience as a Procurement Specialist, Procurement Officer, or Head of Procurement
• Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as dexterity in “reading” the market
• Talent in negotiations and networking
• Good knowledge of supplier or third-party management software
• Experience in collecting and analyzing data.
• Chemical Engineering degree, supply chain management, logistics or engineering.
• Knowledge about Shipping documents and International Shipping.
• 5 Years Experience in Logistics Company.
• 5 Years Experience in Importing and Exporting.
• Familiarity in Incoterms.
• Note: The applicant must be residing in Dubai.
