Job Description: Procurement / Purchaser – Med/Senior Level – Fit out Experience

Position Summary:

The Procurement is familiar with Raw Materials (i.e., Wood, Veneer, Metal, glass, painting, Adhesives, packing materials, etc.) specialist in sourcing and purchasing of raw materials, equipment, and services for various projects. The ideal candidate should have 4 to 10 years of relevant work experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in identifying potential suppliers for materials, equipment, and services required in the fit-out and furniture industry.
  • Conduct research to assess the quality, pricing, and availability of potential suppliers.
  • Support tin negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers.
  • Generate and process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner based on project requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine project specifications and quantities needed.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to track order status and ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or conflicts that arise.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and updating the procurement database or system.
  • Support periodic stock checks to ensure adequate levels of materials are maintained.
  • Prepare and maintain procurement-related documents such as purchase orders and delivery notes.
  • Assist in generating regular reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and inventory levels.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4 to 10 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or a similar role.
  • Understanding of procurement processes and supplier management.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Work experience in SAP or any ERP system
  • Proficiency in using MS Office applications.
