Hiring Procurement & Operations Officer (Metal Industry) – UAE (Engip)

Are you a seasoned procurement and operations professional with a passion for the metal industry?

Engip is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement cum Operations Officer to join our team in the UAE. In this critical role, you’ll play a dual role, streamlining our procurement processes and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

Procurement:

• Source and negotiate with vendors to secure the best prices and quality for materials.
• Manage the procurement process, ensuring timely acquisition of all necessary materials.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stay updated on market trends.
• Oversee inventory management and implement cost-saving measures.

Operations:

• Efficiently manage daily operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies.
• Implement and maintain operational procedures for optimal efficiency.
• Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges.
• Oversee logistics and ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in procurement and operations, ideally within the metal industry (highly preferred).
• Proven track record of successfully managing procurement processes and optimizing costs.
• Strong understanding of supply chain management principles.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant procurement software (a plus).
