Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Officer with a background in joinery or interior fit-out. The successful candidate will play a vital role in negotiating the best prices for goods and services while maintaining excellent relationships with our supply chain. The role focuses on driving cost efficiency throughout the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement Management: Negotiate the best prices and terms for goods and services required by the company, ensuring cost-efficiency and quality.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Maintain and nurture excellent relationships with suppliers, ensuring a reliable and effective supply chain.
- Technical Proficiency: Prepare and package technical drawings and specifications, and filter Bill of Quantities (BoQ) lists for quotations.
- Comparative Analysis: Develop detailed comparison lists of itemized BoQs, comparing against budget and assessing supplier compatibility and pre-qualification.
- Negotiation and Recommendation: Conduct initial negotiations, present comparative analyses, and provide recommendations to the Head of Procurement (HOP) for decision-making.
- Analytical Skills: Interpret technical data to identify non-compliance in quotations, ensuring all procurements meet company standards and specifications.
- Supplier Database Management: Maintain a strong database of suppliers for the supply and installation of fit-out and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) items.
- Turnkey Project Experience: Utilize previous experience in procurement for fit-out and FF&E for turnkey projects.
Experience/License:
- Minimum of 5 years in procurement, with at least 3 years of experience in the UAE focusing on fit-out works.
Driving License Required
