Are you a procurement leader with a passion for the F&B industry?
The Alain Mills Group is seeking a highly motivated Procurement Manager to oversee all aspects of procurement for our Hamriyah Freezone facility in Sharjah. You will play a key role in optimizing our supply chain, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and securing the best quality products for our operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire procurement lifecycle, from sourcing and negotiation to contract management and vendor performance evaluation.
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to identify and qualify reliable suppliers for both local and international requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing needs and prioritize activities.
- Leverage your expertise in sourcing food and non-food categories, as well as manufacturing ingredients.
- Proactively monitor inventory levels and sales trends to prevent stockouts or excessive holding costs.
- Stay abreast of market trends and product availability to secure the best value without compromising quality or delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing Management, Logistics, or Business Administration (preferred).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement and vendor management within the F&B industry.
- A proven track record of success in cost reduction, vendor relationship management, quality control, and inventory optimization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite.
