Pristine Private School is a British Curriculum School located in Al- Nahda 2, Dubai.
PPS is looking to hire a highly efficient middle leader (Key Stage-1/Lower Primary Science Coordinator) for AY 2023-2024.
The ideal candidate must:
- Be qualified with a Master’s degree in science and a degree in Education.
- Have experience in teaching and leading Primary Science in Dubai Schools.
- Have thorough knowledge of the National Curriculum Framework for Science.
- Have excellent communication skills with a very good command of the English language.
- Be passionate about children’s learning.
- Plan creative and inspiring lessons, activities, and learning environments.
The KS1 Co-coordinator will:
- Lead and monitor curriculum planning for KS1 to ensure that all students receive high-quality science education.
- Ensure children’s skills of inquiry, problem-solving, and creativity are developed and applied.
- Ensure that planning, preparation of resources, recording, assessment, and reporting are of the highest quality and meet the varying learning and social needs of children.
- Lead the moderation of assessment data and the tracking of student progress in KS1.
- Keep up to date with new strategies to promote and deliver effective teaching and learning in KS1.
- Lead by example with stimulating teaching to mentor and raise teaching standards.
- Monitor, evaluate, and review policy, practice, and SOWs in KS1 under the direction of the Phase leaders.
- We expect practitioners to be culturally sensitive, dependable, flexible, and able to work in a challenging and stimulating environment.
