Description:
Dubai International Academy Emirates Hills is seeking an experienced and passionate Primary PE Teacher to join our dynamic Physical Education team. The ideal candidate must have expertise in Swimming and a broad range of sports, including Netball, Athletics and Football. This role requires previous experience in leading a Swim programme for a division 1 team and a strong commitment to contributing to our extensive extracurricular programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons across a range of sports, with a strong emphasis on swimming.
- Lead and develop the school’s swim team, including training and competition preparation for Division 1.
- Organize and participate in extracurricular sports activities and events.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and skill development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the PE curriculum and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education: A degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
- Qualification: PGCE / QTS Full teaching qualification.
- Experience: Proven experience teaching PE, with a strong background in swimming and coaching a swim team.
- Skills: Strong instructional and coaching abilities, excellent communication, and leadership skills.
- Additional Requirements: A willingness to actively participate in the school’s extracurricular programs.
