See Yourself as a Pricing Analyst I
As the Price Analyst I you are responsible for working closely with members of the Pricing and Valuation team within the Risk Management Group to perform analysis of Credit/Mortgage Insurance Pricing, Portfolio Risk Attribution, Credit Risk Transfer Securitizations, and ad hoc financial and quantitative analysis. In addition, you will be responsible for assisting in the development of new pricing and return models analysis based on market trends/developments and database management.
See Your Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Development and enhancement of time series reports and analytics to support the surveillance of internal metrics and ratios. Leverage Excel, SAS, Python and/or Tableau applications to develop new and enhance existing analytical frameworks related to Mortgage Insurance portfolio composition, competitive intelligence, and the Credit Risk Transfer portfolio
- Preparation and distribution of monthly pricing and cash flow analysis and reporting. Analyze trends and causation via attribution analysis and reporting.
- Perform ad hoc analysis and make recommendations for enhancements to the current pricing, reporting structure and framework.
- Responsible for the ongoing monitoring and collection of competitor rates for incorporation into Radian’s competitive position framework. Including the development and maintenance of databases.
- Assist in the research and implementation of market data and variables to enhance pricing and financial forecasts.

Your Basic Education And Prior Work-Related Experience
- Degree Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience
- Work Experience: 2 or more years of prior work-related experience
Additional Qualifications
- Knowledge of Python, SAS, SQL or a similar programming language
- Knowledge of BI platforms such as Tableau
- General understanding of pricing/valuation/ROC concepts and methods
- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple tasks under deadlines
- Ability to perform analysis and provide conclusions and recommendations
- Proficient with all Microsoft applications (Excel/PowerPoint) and familiarity with VBA or a similar language
- Experience manipulating large data sets
- High level of interest in learning and utilizing advanced analytical and statistical methods
- Demonstrated track record of success and increasing knowledge base

- Competitive Compensation: anticipated base salary rate from $49,000 to $70,000 based on skills and experience. This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program.
