Location: Dubai
The Program Management Office within IT Governance is responsible for managing the Portfolio Management function consisting of regular Business portfolio, Innovation, Digitization & IT Transformation pool of programs and projects
Portfolio management is responsible for maintaining the standards of process, related to Projects & Changes within the department.
The PMO is the source of documentation, guidance and metrics on the practice of project management and execution ensuring initiatives small and large follow the defined process and help to deliver quality final products. This function is responsible for monitoring, controlling, processing and reporting of all financials related to Capital and operational expenditure related to the Portfolio.
Facilitate the execution of the road map and Change Portfolio in line with the capacity and demand planning
Continuous review of the Portfolio through various forums like Portfolio Management Reviews meeting, Focus Meetings and highlight the KPI’s through standard dashboards , facilitating the issue/risk mitigations to deliver the Portfolio within time , cost and quality
Monitoring, Controlling and Processing of all purchase requisitions related to the Portfolio ensuring all controls and checks are followed diligently and by making sure timely processing of all invoices , facilitating timely capitalization of completed portfolio
Working alongside of the QMG team to carry out the internal review of the ongoing portfolio and facilitating early warning signals and thereby ensuring quality of the project delivery
Drive Process Improvement initiatives
Identify appropriate methodologies and best practices and create standards, guidelines
Define standard planning methodologies used to ensure consistent and repeatable project development performance
Change Management: Support and Manage the IT Change Management Process.
