We are looking to hire a Plant manager who has extensive experience in the plant management of flexible packaging products or similar fields, to be based in Abu Dhabi.

Job Summary:

This is a full-time on-site Plant Manager role located in Abu Dhabi. The Plant Manager will oversee and manage day-to-day plant operations, including production planning and manufacturing operations. They will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and managing plant staff.

Qualifications and Experience:

Education:

• Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field (master’s degree preferred).

Experience:

• 15 years of extensive experience in the plant management of flexible packaging products or similar fields.
• At least 10 years experience in a leadership or management role, with a proven track record of success in the plastic industry.

Roles & Responsibility:

Plant Management:

Lead and manage all aspects of plant operations, including production planning, scheduling, and execution.

Project Implementation:

• Responsible for ensuring plant machinery installation, erection, and commissioning as per the agreed terms and conditions with the machines.
• Oversee operations to ensure safety.
• Develop plans that help operations run smoothly.
• Manage production.
• Create and manage budgets.
• Recruit, train, and onboard new employees.
• Collect and review data to reduce inefficiencies and waste.
• Analyze data and create reports to present to executives regarding processes.
• Evaluate employees and give suggestions for improvement
• Oversee work schedules to ensure coverage.
• Perform routine safety checks on equipment.
• Authorized to implement operations plans to meet production targets and customer requirements.
• Accountable for implementing HSE, QMS, and ISO standards at the plant.
• Accountable to meet production targets within approved budget and cost.
• Accountable to meet regulatory requirements pertaining to the Plant and compliance with the State and federal laws.
