Permanent – Full Time CPP is looking for an amazingly talented Planning Engineer to join our team! In this role you will cover all operational objectives, project plans and milestone.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Provide project planning and progress reporting service to assigned project in accordance with the Client rules through all stages of the project life cycle
  • Ensure planning activities are properly aligned with scope and making sure that planning reporting is accurate and fully reflects status
  • Prepare planning package – baseline project schedule, engineering documents deliverables register (MDR), progress measurement system, S-Curve, manpower histogram, project calendars
  • Prepare and manage overall master schedule integrating work breakdown structure using scheduling software considering all in puts (manpower, equipment and materials) availability, production and construction sequences
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including design specifications, progress reports, and change orders.
  • Coordinate schedule from multiple contractors and incorporate the information gathered into the overall project master schedule
  • Prepare and update look-ahead schedule that reflect the priority activities. • Liaises with all team leaders and / or members to communicate required completion dates and interface between functional team/operational team and project team.
  • Attend daily planning meeting to resolve, support and update any maintenance planning issues affecting day to day maintenance and operation

What Required Skills you’ll Bring:

  • Graduate in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • 6 years in EPC contracts in the Oil and Gas industry
  • Must be experienced in the use of project planning and costing software / applications and Primavera 6 Project plans
  • Experience of working with multi-national and multi-cultural project teams is strongly preferred
  • Good written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with project personnel and management.

Work Environment:

  • Normally air-conditioned office. Exposed to prevailing weather conditions to site visits.
  • Reporting to: Project Control Manager
