Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging physics lessons in line with the IB American curriculum standards.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel motivated and encouraged to participate actively in their learning.
- Assess and evaluate students’ progress through various assessment methods, including tests, quizzes, projects, and presentations.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic and personal growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine curriculum materials and teaching strategies.
- Participate in school-wide activities and events, including parent-teacher meetings and extracurricular activities.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in physics education and incorporate innovative teaching methods into the classroom.
- Create a supportive and respectful classroom culture that values diversity and promotes a love of learning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physics or a related field.
- Teaching certification or credentials in secondary education.
- 1-3 years of teaching experience, preferably in an IB American curriculum setting.
- Strong knowledge of the IB American curriculum and assessment standards.
- Passion for teaching and inspiring students to excel in physics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
