Description:
Job title: Payroll Executive
Responsibilities:
- Data Verification and Processing
- Verify employee documentation (tax forms, bank accounts, etc.) for accuracy and completeness.
- Process employee onboarding paperwork and payroll setup.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee payroll information in the system.
- Review and validate timesheets, overtime calculations, and leave requests.
Payroll Preparation and Disbursement:
- Calculate employee salaries, bonuses, and deductions according to company policies and employment contracts.
- Prepare and issue payroll for all employees on a timely and accurate basis.
- Ensure timely and accurate bank transfers or paycheck distribution.
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any errors.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Stay updated on relevant payroll regulations and tax requirements.
- Prepare and submit all required payroll and tax reports for each Project.
- Liaise with government agencies and tax authorities as needed.
- Generate accurate and detailed payroll reports for internal stakeholders.
Communication and Problem Solving:
- Respond promptly and effectively to employee inquiries and concerns regarding payroll.
- Investigate and resolve payroll issues efficiently and proactively.
- Maintain clear and concise communication with internal stakeholders, including HR and Finance teams.
Project Management:
- Adapt payroll processes to meet the specific needs of different projects across different countries.
- Manage and track multiple payroll projects simultaneously.
- Ensure timely delivery of payroll deliverables for all projects.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, ACCA, CA .
- Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a multi-country environment.
- Strong understanding of payroll accounting principles and procedures.
- Proficient in payroll software (e.g., SAP)
