AIC Steel Ras Al Khaimah is looking for Painting Foreman

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• To check the quality of paint by mixing paint applications & proper bonding with surface of the material painted as per the quality control norms and customer specifications.
• To supervise different stages of Paint application on surface of material right from primer to the final coat by inspecting at each stage proper standards and measurement as required by Quality standards are followed to deliver quality product to customer.
• Ensure paint & material is available on continual basis on each painting table and follows up with internal department to send material which is to be released on priority basis to respective sites.
• Interact with the planning engineer on continual basis to ensure material availability consistently on shop floor to avoid stoppages and delays at Project sight.
• Prepare time sheet of workmen to trace output of each personnel working on shop floor for better productivity, discipline & control.
• To control wastage of Paints & spillage by regularly instructing the workmen to apply paint with proper technique and paint equipment’s resulting in minimum paint losses.
• Supervise the entire housekeeping of the area under his jurisdiction and ensure shop floor is clear for smooth passage of Paint material, manpower by regularly lifting used paint boxes & disposing off the same into the scrap yard.
