Operations Manager – Building Maintenance

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a talented and dynamic Operations Manager with a strong background in Building Maintenance to join our team. As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the daily operations of our building maintenance department. This is a great opportunity for a young, motivated professional to take on a leadership role and make a significant impact in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the building maintenance department, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of all activities.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
• Create and maintain a preventive maintenance schedule for all building systems and equipment.
• Supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.
• Oversee the procurement and inventory management of maintenance supplies and equipment.
• Liaise with vendors and contractors to schedule and oversee repairs and maintenance projects.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets, including cost control measures and expense tracking.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as facilities management and human resources, to achieve organizational goals.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in building maintenance and implement innovative solutions.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role in building maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment, and maintenance techniques.
• Excellent leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement operational strategies and process improvements.
• Solid understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
• Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
