Hiring Operations Engineer
District Cooling International (DCI), a leading HVAC company and distributors for LG Electronics, having offices in Dubai & Abu Dhabi, are looking for an experienced service engineer having extensive experience & knowledge of VRF Systems.
The successful candidate shall be responsible for inspecting the installation & system, ensuring installation in line with guidelines, startup & commissioning, troubleshooting, servicing and repairing commercial HVAC equipment including VRF Systems & Split Units. UAE Experience and Valid UAE Driving License are a mandatory requirement.
Job Responsibilities
- Knowledge of HVAC fundamentals such as thermodynamics, psychometrics.
- Ability to work completely independently and handling all activities related to installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and repairs on his own.
- Ability to understand and interpret civil and mechanical drawings, ducting layouts, electrical wiring and communication drawings
- Attend meetings with consultants and contractors
- Inspection installation works and highlight any discrepancies in the installation which not in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
- Conducts preventive maintenance, service, repair and troubleshooting of commercial HVAC equipment and systems
- Ability to perform electrical and controls diagnostics
- Perform start-up & commissioning on commercial HVAC equipment
- Preparing detailed and professional Service and Commissioning Reports
- Accurately estimate time and material requirements for repairs and maintenance activities
- Have knowledge of, and ability to follow health & safety guidelines as well as use of tools used in HVAC industry.
- Communication and documentation skills are critical to the work requirement.
Education & Experience:
- Appropriate technical trainings and education
- Minimum of 5 – years commercial HVAC experience
