This is a DevNetOps role with a focus on automating network infrastructure builds by building beautiful automation scripts and CI/CD (mostly CD) pipelines.
The candidate will be expected to deep dive and share technical details of his own experience in implementing the automation for the large-scale production enterprise network deployments.
Responsibilities:
Own the continuous delivery of network infrastructure as a code, which includes but not limited to:
- Integration with inventory/network state source of truth systems
- Maturing up existing and developing new configuration management automation services.
- Developing CI/CD pipeline for the network deployment.
- Integration with other systems and platforms in ENBD ecosystem for pipeline enhancement (i.e. vulnerability scanners, monitoring systems, etc.)
- Must have qualifications:
- Proven 3Y+ experience with implementing CD for a stack similar to below in an enterprise organization. The candidate should be ready to talk about a specific scenarios that he or she implemented.
- Managed hardware and appliances: Cisco IOS, NXOS, Cumulus Linux, SonicOS, Aruba EdgeConnect WAN Optimizers, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, F5, Fortigate.
- Protocols: IP, BGP, OSPF, MP-BGP, EVPN (L2 and L3), VXLAN, VLAN, LACP, MLAG/VPC, IPSec, MACSEC
- Configuration management and automation: Ansible, Python, Netbox, Docker
- CI/CD: Github, Jenkins
- Observability and monitoring tools: Grafana, ELK, SuzieQ
