AIC Steel (Ras Al Khaimah) is currently looking for MPS Foreman

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Assists Supervisors in coordinating and assigning jobs, tasks to shop floor workers and directing, and coaching them to achieve the highest quality standards of production output.
• Assists Supervisors to check cutting list and drawing vis-a-vis with material allocation to ensure adequate materials needed in the operation and maintain continuity of jobs in the shop floor.
• Assists the Supervisor in monitoring overall equipment/machine effectiveness (e.g., shearing, plasma, oxy-acetylene, Tipo punching, VMC automatic gas cutting, blasting machine, among others) such as machine performance, availability, quality of materials done, breakdowns and report and communicate these two Supervisors for preventive maintenance and repair.
• Conducts random quality checking on materials in coordination with Leadman, and Supervisor to ensure conformance with the cutting list and drawings.
• Assists Supervisor in checking machine operators’ daily production report and output vis-a-vis with cutting list, drawings, and ensure highest quality standards of production output and production targets are achieved.
• Assists Supervisors in strictly implementing established safety standards to zero-out accident and minimizes occupational hazards.
• Serves as a reliever to shop floor workers when there is a manpower shortage to ensure that target is achieved.
• Oversees shop floor workers to clean work area by strictly following the 5S housekeeping to realize clean and safe workplace.
