Description:

Hiring Mid Accounting Support position in Abu Dhabi.

• Entity: O&G / Trading
• Note: ONLY qualified candidates will be notified.
• Main Tasks To Be Performed By Recruit
• Non-Trade Accruals – gathering accrual related data for Opex expenses from various departments. Ensuring accuracy and posting these to the ledgers
• Month-End Process – running the month end process in SAP, including FX revaluation.
• Reconciliations and Reports – producing reconciliations, including inter-company reconciliation and accruals reports.
• Statutory Reporting (not mandatory) – ability to create statutory financial reports for sign-off by senior management.

Specific Skills Required

• Good excel and SAP skills.
• Eye for detail
• Ability to analyze and challenge data.
• Basic knowledge of key IFRS standards
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Ability to explain and articulate well.

Experience

• Creating and booking Opex and Capex items, including correct allocation of both invoices and accruals
• Creation of reports and reconciliations which help the business, including inter-company reports and accrual clearance reports.
• Systems Skills Desirable
• SAP
