Job Summary:
As a Juice, Fruits, and Salad – Merchandiser, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, nutritious, and delicious fruits, salads, and juices to our valued customers. You will contribute to the overall success of our stall by providing exceptional customer service, preparing fresh salads and juices, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
- Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Provide product recommendations and answer customer inquiries.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.
Food Preparation:
- Prepare and assemble fresh salads, ensuring they meet quality and presentation standards.
- Prepare a variety of fruit and vegetable juices, smoothies, and other beverages following established recipes.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene guidelines are strictly adhered to at all times.
- Maintain a well-organized and clean workspace, including regular sanitization of equipment.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor and restock ingredients, fruits, vegetables, and other supplies as needed.
- Conduct inventory checks and report shortages to the supervisor or manager.
- Assist in placing orders for fresh produce and supplies to maintain stock levels.
Cash Handling:
- Accurately handle cash and process customer payments.
- Maintain cash registers and ensure they balance at the end of each shift.
- Issue receipts and maintain records of sales transactions.
Menu Knowledge:
- Stay informed about the menu offerings, including ingredient information and nutritional details.
- Promote menu items and seasonal specials to customers.
Cleanliness and Sanitation:
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of all food preparation areas and equipment.
- Follow health and safety guidelines, including handwashing and food storage practices.
- Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with mall regulations.
Teamwork:
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth stall operations.
- Assist in training new team members and sharing knowledge about menu items and procedures.
